Magnetodynamic Coupling :-

Magneto dynamic is a coupling method where power is transferred between two rotating armatures in which one is the transmitter and the other is the receiver. This armature contains permanent magnets which produce magnetic fields. The armature starts rotating synchronously due to this magnetic field. The transmitter armature is the main reason for the rotation of magneto dynamic coupling.

When the transmitter armature is turned on, the magnetic fields exert a torque towards the receiver armature which in return produces power to drive the load, either by turning a separate electric generator or by using the individual receiver armature as a rotator in a generator. This device has been proposed as an alternative to inductive power transfer for the noncontact charging of electric vehicles. Transmitter armature was produced as an inductive power transfer for charging electric vehicles. The receiver armature would be turned by the rotating armature embedded in a garage floor while it is still inside the underside of the vehicle in order to charge its batteries.
